The ABB invited SkyBright Solar to a solar training and to witness the unveiling of its new flagship solar inverter, the PVS-175-TL, on 23rd January 2019. SkyBright CEO David Lawrance and Project Manager Datu Jemino went to Singapore for the opportunity to learn more about the ABB’s new technology.
The ABB’s new PVS-175-TL string inverter won an award at Intersolar Europe as the leading PV product innovation. It was unveiled for Asia on 23rd January 2019 before the ABB’s recognized affiliates in the region.
According to the ABB, its PVS-175-TL delivers the largest capacity on the market for a 1500Vdc string inverter. It also results in savings of up to 65 percent on installation and logistic costs for ground-mounted utility-scale applications.
Along with the key benefits of traditional string inverters, its innovative modular design means that up to 65 percent fewer inverters are required to complete the optimal power block without the need for AC recombiners. This delivers up to 65 percent savings on installation and logistic costs, improving Levelized Cost of Electricity, or LCOE, for utility-scale installations.
This technology is a versatile solution to the demand for higher voltage and higher power class ratings for commercial or utility-scale solar energy installations.
SkyBright Solar is keeping its promise of bringing quality solar power brands to Ilonggos. We are always keen in making sure that we learn continuously—direct from the manufacturers of the products we carry, whenever possible—so we can provide a reliable aftersales support.
